Solve real problems. Skip the bidding war.
Vibe Hire matches a small group of developers who build well with AI to businesses that need bespoke internal tools. Clear briefs, paid discovery, work judged on agreed tests.
Free to apply. Every application is reviewed by a person.
Freelance platforms reward the fastest pitch, not the best fix.
Vague briefs
A paragraph and a deadline. You guess the scope, then own the gap between the guess and what they meant.
Free pitching
Hours of unpaid proposals to race the cheapest bid. The thinking that wins the job is the part nobody pays for.
Moving goalposts
Scope shifts in a chat thread, and "done" means whatever the client feels on review day.
Clients do not need more code. They need someone who understands the problem. We send you the problem already shaped, and pay you to think it through.
A defined problem, and paid time to understand it.
Real operations problems, not tickets.
Studios, e-commerce brands and factories bring a process that hurts. Your job is to find the tool that fixes it.
Returns tracked across three spreadsheets
A returns dashboard fed by the order export
Purchase approvals lost in email threads
An approval flow with owners and limits
Shift reports and repair requests on paper
A shift log with maintenance tickets
AI writes code. We admit developers who own the result.
- Problem framing
- You find the real job behind the request.
- Working delivery
- You ship things people use, not demos.
- Debugging
- You can explain why it broke, not just that it works now.
- Testing and security
- Secrets stay out of code. Tests prove the result.
- AI, data and IP judgment
- You know what AI tools may see and who owns the output.
- Communication and handover
- The client can run it after you leave.
Questions developers ask
Who is Vibe Hire for?
Developers who build with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Lovable and take responsibility for the result. Clients are businesses such as studios, e-commerce brands and factories that need bespoke internal tools.
Is it free to apply?
Yes. Applying costs nothing and there is no bidding, so you never pay to compete for work.
How are developers selected?
Operations reviews your examples and assesses six areas: problem framing, working delivery, debugging, testing and security, AI and data judgment, and communication. We admit a small group so every developer gets real work.
What kind of projects will I get?
Internal tools that replace spreadsheets, paper and email chains: dashboards, approval flows, trackers, booking and reporting tools. Every brief arrives with goals, users, deadlines and success tests.
How does pay work?
You set your rates. Discovery is paid work, and each build milestone starts only after Operations confirms it is funded. Prices are agreed in writing before you start.
What happens after I apply?
You can track your status from your account. If you are not admitted yet, you get a note on why and can update your application.
The first group is small.
